Create a QR Code to have a simple way for people to link to membership info through their phones:

Use an app called QR Reader.  Copy the link to your membership or join packet in OSP and paste it into the creator and it will creates a QR code you can add to flyers for use at events or to post at your school.  When a person uses their phone to read the QR code, it will take them directly to your membership/join packet.   

Here is what it will look like when you create it. See upper left corner for the QR code:

You can then share it by email or text and copy it into a flyer.

Easy ways to increase Membership through emailings within Our School Pages

REACHING OUT TO UNPAID MEMBERS WHO (MAYBE) THOUGHT THEY SIGNED UP) – There will have been people who tried to sign up for PTSA membership, but for some reason they did not complete their membership or pay.  Here is how to get a list of those people:

  1. If you have Admin access for Our School Pages, you can do this. Otherwise, you can ask you website administrator to pull this info.
  2. Log in to Admin on Our School Pages, go to Reports and Order Items
  3. Tick ‘Incomplete’, ‘Pending’ and ‘ Abandoned’ and make sure ‘Paid’ and ‘Reversed’ is NOT ticked. Hit apply.
  4. On the next line, from the drop down menu, select ‘membership’ or whatever makes the most sense to pull up membership unpaids (you may want to also do this for ‘staff membership’ after this). You could select a membership choice for the second drop down menu on the same line or just leave that blank and pull up all the membership unpaids. 
  5. I would suggest you download the report (see one of the pink bars below the apply button), which will pull it into an excel report, and compare it against your paid members report. 
  6. To locate the paid members report in Our School Pages, within Admin, go to Extras, then PTA Membership Upload, and either put in your login info for PT Avenue or hit cancel, then the report is all those pages in the left-hand column. If the person on the unpaid membership report (all the Incomplete, Pending or Abandoned), but is also on the paid members report, please do not email them. Otherwise why not send them a quick email that says, “Did you forget? PTSA Membership”.  “I see you tried to sign up for PTSA, but your membership wasn’t completed.  Please follow this link to complete your membership.” Or create your own email.
