ParentWiser Event: Clear the Air: Protecting Kids From Vaping
Designed to give Washington parents and other caring adults the knowledge and tools they need to protect youth from today’s nicotine threats, this webinar will show how the tobacco and vaping industry targets kids, explain the risks of vapes, nicotine pouches, and co-use with marijuana, and offer practical ways adults can help.
Attendees will learn concrete steps to prevent youth use, build stronger support systems around kids, and reinforce that quitting is possible. Whether a child is vulnerable, exposed but not using, beginning to experiment, or already using, this session will leave participants feeling more informed, better prepared, and more confident in how to respond.
“I thought I knew everything I needed to know about vaping. I learned way more than I thought I would.” — Nicole Morgan, Lincoln High School PTSA Board President
Parents Against Vaping (PAVe) is a national grassroots organization founded in 2018 by three New York City moms as a response to the youth vaping epidemic.
