SUMMARY:Council Award Nominations Open through March 15
DESCRIPTION:We are seeking nominations for the following awards: \n\nGolden Acorn Award\nThe Issaquah PTSA Council honors outstanding volunteer service for children by awarding the Golden Acorn Award annually. The nominees of this award have gone “above and beyond” in their volunteer efforts\, and have given exemplary volunteer service to children and youth in our community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOutstanding Advocate Award\nEvery year the Council honors Outstanding Volunteer Advocacy for children by awarding the Outstanding Advocate Award. This award honors and recognizes an individual for his or her active advocacy work and commitment in helping to create strong policies relating to the health\, welfare\, safety and education of children and youth.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOutstanding Service Award\nOccasionally\, but not every year\, the Council presents the Outstanding Service Award. This high honor goes to a person who has given dedicated and long-term volunteer service that positively impacts children throughout our community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease take a moment to think about council members (this can be anyone on council including all of our unit presidents) who are deserving of extra recognition this year and fill out our SURVEY. The survey will close at midnight on March 15th. Thank you!
